Our Story

Little Sunbeam Home was born from a desire to slow down, simplify, and honor childhood as a sacred unfolding.

After over 13 years working in early childhood education—both in centers and in the home—I felt called to create something different: a space where children could grow in rhythm, surrounded by nature, beauty, and warmth. A place that felt more like a home than a classroom. A space where toys are simple and open-ended, meals are homemade with love, and each child is truly seen.

As a mother myself, I’ve come to understand the power of gentle care, strong daily rhythm, and connection to the natural world. Inspired by the Waldorf approach and my own family’s way of life, I opened Little Sunbeam Home to bring those values to the children in my community.

Here, we honor the seasons, celebrate simple joys, and protect the magic of early childhood.
